Electric Power cut at about 1145am, today!
Whole DCDM was in the dark and some mins after, we learned that Accenture was also without electricity, got confirmation from Mantasha n Yasmina…At first. i thought DCDMC didnt pay electricity bills.
But when i learn Accenture also, experienced this black out, then, i said to myself, Accenture didnt pay the bills and since DCDMC is managed by Accenture, then its gonna be normal.10mins afterwards, Vissen(my friend) told me that there was a blackout even in Moka(Euro CRM).
This turns out to be a bigger problem then, not only for Accenture and DCDMC.
Just then, Bernard (sitting next to me now) told me that there was an electric storm.
“Ekire mo nom si” says Vero at this second…
ya, i immediately looked for a picture of an electric storm on flickr, but damned it!
They blocked Flickr here!!! grrrr!
So, i googled and got the following picture while waiting for Bernard to send me the pics he shot yesterday evening.
Euh, didnt you or your company failed to pay electricity too? lol

- All Colleges and schools have been closed down and even some companies…
- Electricity is back after 1 hr
- All roads in port louis are blocked, traffic jamThe day after tomorrow!!!

C domage ki bane controleur truv zour ki ena la pli torrentielle cuman ene pretexte pu coken bane etudiants ek lezot dimoune. Ene bis individuelle p roule en direction pl change so affichage met “contract”, apre li rente dan reduit et dir bane zeleve ki p mouille, ena p gagne tracas, rentrer dan bis b bizin payer seulement parski “pa so la route ca”. Li fer etidian payer pu li gagne casse en plis d ca li p coken dimoune so casse. 5 fois bane etidian ek ene femme agee dir li li pa p rane echange correctment. MAURITIans pa zis palabe et zot voleur et profiteur. heureusement pa tou ki cumsa.

its was really strange to find that there’s NO electricity and NO Mobile Network for ’bout 45 mins. Was at Goodlands just b4 heavy rainfall, and you could find everyone trying to get network on their mobile phones..but in vain..
Even Traffic Lights were not working…Total BlackOut
