It goes without saying that our country has a real problem due to the persistent increase in unemployment among youngsters. Through this guest article, I wanted to express my feelings, share my observations and views about the limited job opportunities in our island. I have gone through so many bad times during the past months and probably many among you have similar experiences too.

Don’t bother about the ICTA Permit when importing mobile phones for personal use
In March 2014, the ICTA published a communique to inform the public about the existing regulations which will henceforth be more strictly enforced. But today, I am hereby confirming this fact : No permits (TAC) is needed to clear out of the customs if you are importing mobile phones for personal use.
The problems with the “free” college tablets (Part 1 & 2)
Right from the beginning, I was completely and I'm strongly against this decision of the government of giving away free tablets to the college students. Several problems have been reported till today and now, even insurance companies don't want to insure those tablets!
