Good examples can be found @ casernes itself et non pas sur la route.. I had to do reverse and parking in order to complete test for driving license..
These policemen are completely rough as if they come from the jungle..Bluntly speaking, even animals have respect for their species
If possible you need to report this on radio+ or top FM and let people give their views.. this issue needs to be raised. If policemen are meant to show courtesy which they are skipping, how can they reform people???

Can we know what he has told you? With all due respect, it’s hard for a 3rd party to judge if the policeman was rude or it was just your opinion or perspective?

I am not asking anyone to judge lol, its just a personal experience.
The way he spoke, that’s all that I can say lol.
Firstly, any other police officers who stopped me earlier said at least “Bonsoir, un controle de routine monsieur.
But this one : “He waived his small torch light (the red ones used currently), I drove my car to the side of the road and he told me “LICENCE”.
That’s only the welcoming message 😛 LOL.

I know what you mean. Lots still to do in that area in this country. The problem is that in certain services they have not been trained to understand that they are at public service. So they wear an official responsibility like it was self power over others. Sometimes you can experience the same on buses with controllers etc. It all comes down to training and a change in mentality. It will take another generation before .MU catches up on the international norms.

This reminds me that there is a new Police Strategy being implemented but it will take time for it to be fully integrated. Basically, the Police Force is being taught to change it’s image of a FORCE to that of a SERVICE to the public. Hopefully, this will include how to correctly communicate with the public.
