3500… C’est le nombre de dos d’ânes (speed humps/breaks) sur nos routes… J’ai été stupéfait en lisant cet article sur l’express de ce matin…. J’avais même écrit un article sur ce sujet quelques mois de cela! A lire ici.

mo perplexe lor record la mias bon.. faisons confiance a la presse:P:P anyway ena place franchement mo ask moi kifer zot mete hump : / li plutot ene embaras alors ki ena place kot c vrai zot important.. et souvent zot pou trouve hump kot ban place kot ena dimoun pou bizin traverser ou avant ban petit la croisee ki mari bku dan maurice compared to other countries kot ban chemin bien grands et spacieux et ena robots plutot.

Seeing how most Mauritians drive on the island, I would say it is better to have a world record on the number of speed humps we have rather than a record on the number of accidents, death by accident or minimum speed the population drives.
There was one scary episode I witnessed last time I was in Mauritius.

In London alone, there were 30,000 road humps acc. a research in 2008… They cause more pollution apparently…

lol … But that still does not help at all … speeding is the most common occurance on mru roads..can i also add the fact that i have noticed that there are more double yellow lines (as in no parking zone) area than we actually have parking spots in mru 😛 …
