You may already know, I am not a big fan of gods.
Nevertheless, I went to a prayer today, not to pray, detrompez vous! but to Eat 🙂
[ this should have been the location for the picture but pff, I did not even think to take one ! ]
Our Muslim brothers n sisters are ending their fast today, the Hindus have started their 10days fast today with Doorga Pooja while Govinden is being celebrated by another part of Mauritian population.
Mum already knows, I need my non-veg food for my lunch everyday, and nothing gonna change that.
To come back to the title today, food is so good, especially when its gratos! lol
I can already smell the briani which will be offered on the last day of the Doorga Pooja, and even better, the delicious briani which will be cooked by our muslim friends tomorrow 😛

live to eat! thats the spirit my son! c ki bon pou la bouche bon pou moi!:P

Hindus can never be brothers with muslims…
Its Allah’s rule to do not consider other religion as your true friends/brothers
clear that in your mind…
+ We are not ending our fast today
the fast ended yesterday :@

@Muslim : You seem to be so intelligent.
Next time, please make sure you read the date on which the article was published, i.e. yesterday (Sunday).
From this childish behavior of urs, I don’t think its worth discussing anything with you 🙂
Please come back later,
Cheers 😉

Food glorious food, there is nothing quite like it……(song from the musical Oliver). This morning, Monday, there is a smell of briani rising from my kitchen and it will be shared with family. Pleasure of eating but sharing also.

Please precise that this is what YOU went to do and not all hindus. and at the same time, you could make the title something like :
-Doorga pooja = Manzer For ME(yashvin)!!
Because its highly misleading and gives a very bad impression on the event itself.
Unlike you, many people went to pray.
Thank you.

@Sun : lol, I clearly stated that I WENT…
As for the title and the post, I think it is so evident since I am writing the article. No need to put my name everywhere in each sentence, isnt it?
Sun, why are you so harsh? There’s nothing misleading here!
And I don’t think that people believe everything they read, do they?

@yashvin, I still think that the title is highly misleading, and even insulting. Doorga Pooja is NOT= Manzer. Except for you maybe.

Thats exactly my point Sun else I would not have written this 😉
Perhaps misleading yes, if some fail to understand that this is a blog and concern personal opinions.
But Insulting? I cannot see how.
Anyway, if this affects you, then my apologies.
To others : I confirm :

I also think this blog post title should be revised with the last blog comment.
I could had blogged on Doorga Pooja just like I blog for other Hindu Festivities like Raksha bandhan or Maha Shivratree .
Nevertheless, we understand that its your personal blog where you can express your personal opinions.

Well I think that both Sun and Yashvin are right and wrong…
As a true devotee Sun has the right to feel hurt and as the author of the blog, Yashvin has the right to express his point of view…(though I don’t think you meant to insult whatever religion.)
Sun and Yashvin please do not argue..it’s sad 😦

Having read this post (& comments) i feel really disturbed by a particularly disturbing comment. Whoever that is, it’s no doubt that he is the biggest fool and most immature person on earth. One single person alone cannot be representative of a whole community. Thanks Yashvin for so politely ignoring the square-wheeler’s comment:)

@MeTooMuslim : Thanks for your support.
You know, it is not always easy to deal with these category of people (1), sometimes referred as trolls.
No valid name or email address, they often say things which do not really make sense, and they believe that they are the top of the world.
Sometimes, among friends and frequent readers(2), we do discuss and say things, knowing each other personally. These kind of comments really help to improve ourselves, I mean bloggers and readers.
@David : pu pense sa 😉
@Sun : No offense, peace 🙂
You fall in category 2, mentioned above lol
