Among all the weird things going on in Mauritius, I had to expect that one coming, I happened to have been given a speeding ticket whereby I felt I didn't deserved it. I opted to go for a fair trial instead of just blindly paying the fine. Here's my personal experience in the court where I was summoned for the case.

Tons of tourists land on the island to practice water sports which very few Mauritians can actually afford because the prices being out of reach for most Mauritians. I also have the impression that Mauritians are being left behind all those developments made for the tourism industry.

Car washing like a boss
While driving back from Flic en Flac two weeks ago, this particular scene at Beau Songes made me drove back to this particular spot but this time, armed with my camera. As you can see, the person drove his car right in the middle of the river to give it a wash with the help of the little guy, most probably his son.
